Doug: Many thanks for your useful
and thoughtful response. I am going to circulate your
excellent comments to people on my list.
I find your objections troubling. It has been known for many years that
cancer cells can thrive only in an anaerobic environment i.e., highly acidic and
with little or no oxygen. Conversely, many effective therapies have been
developed, such as ozone, (which is widely practiced in Cuba and
elsewhere), which utilize high doses of oxygen and a diet designed to
shift the patient's ph balance well above 7.4. For that reason baking
soda certainly made a lot of sense to me. I know people who have had
similar success using hydrogen peroxide.
Nevertheless, I would appreciate hearing from you
concerning the "other" therapies that are natural, nutritional, safe and
effective. Your comments are appreciated.... TRA.

This is pure myth.
Dr. Simoncini, it's
originator, does not provide long term stats, and he has changed his story
several times. First he claimed IV 5% NaHCO3 (bicarbonate of soda) worked for
brain and lung malignancies and breast was "cured" with a combination of IV and
infusing 5% behind the tumor. He claimed prostate cancer is cured by infusing 5%
NaHCO3 into the bladder. Now, he says arterial catheters have to be placed in
the carotid, pulmonary and mammary arteries near the tumor to effect a "cure"
with the NaHCO3. I even have reason to even doubt this.
Furthermore, he
claims cancer is a fungus which is blatantly ridiculous. Although malignancy
seems to be an infectious process and indeed fungi, bacteria and/or viruses are
commonly associated with it and may not be coincidental as it's cause, the mass
itself because it is "white" doesn't make it a candida fungus as Simoncini
claims. Evidence reveals that malignancy may be caused by the toxin from some
infection, like root canal teeth, or environmental influence like industrial
toxins, heavy metals, pesticides and so forth. There is clearly a trigger for
the process but the process itself is NOT a fungus.
Without going into
detail, I can tell you without hesitation that anyone trying this at the
exclusion of the many other natural and nutritional ways that are safe and
effective will not succeed, even if they find a physician that will administer
it IV or by infiltration.
Re IV and oral consumption of NaHCO3
Go
check your physiology, NaHCO3 is blown off as CO2 as it passes the lungs and is
excreted as the base through the urine - if your kidney's are functional - the
sodium (Na) is retained causing increased blood pressure and electrolyte
imbalance, particularly potassium (K) which is required for cell to cell
communication and nerve function. So your urine will be plenty alkaline, but not
your body or blood. Actually it could have the opposite physiological effect
because the body will produce more acid if it cannot get rid of the excessive
alkalinity by breathing or urination ending up with an overall acid physiology.
pH can be controlled naturally using differet forms of calcium, but IV and oral
bicarb is not the path to take.
Orally, a small amount of bicarb may
relieve an "acid" stomach, but the cause of reflux is generally due to food
sensitivities and also a lack of HCl and certainly not the deficiency of
a purple pill. This lack of HCl and digestive occurs particularly after the age
of 40 and in children with asthma. NaHCO3 interferes with the action of pepsin
and stops the digestion or proteins and the release of bound minerals necessary
for life by neutralizing the acid. We can take in gold plated food and
supplements, but if we can't digest them or assimilate them, they are worthless.
Mr. Delaney has certainly had bad experiences with physicians. Too bad
he never found someone he can trust. Remember, there is a lot of misinformation
on both sides of the fence. This bicarb therapy is but one of many. Again
things that seem to be TGTBT, usually are.
